Centina were engaged as part of a D&C tender process, to provide a fit for purpose early learning centre with a focus on sustainability and holistically considered internal environments.

The project consisted of the construction of a 840m2 childcare facility, which included activity rooms, kitchen, wet areas, prep rooms, reception, and break out rooms. Key internal features include feature wall murals, marmoleum floors, and a commercial kitchen. The building envelope consisted of both face/ rendered masonry veneer, commercial windows and doors and lightweight feature cladding. External works included the design and construction of 3 nature play spaces, as well as feature fencing and a carpark.

Services were procured and value managed on a D&C basis, and verified by third party engineering checks, to provide lean, FFP outcomes for the client.

Centina client collaboration, Centina were able to navigate several site constraints (such as soil contamination) and change management through the course of construction, and still delivering ahead of program, whilst managing additional costs to the client.
