Southwark Grounds Tender Win

A South Australian consortium led by developer Kolabb, in partnership with Centina and fund manager ICAM, has won a bid to develop at least 23 architecturally designed two to four bedroom townhomes at Renewal SA’s Southwark Grounds site located on the old West End Brewery site.

The project, to be known as Anderson Lane, has been carefully designed to balance density with green space and includes affordable homes and premium offerings with rooftop terraces all set within a network of tree lined laneways.

To support housing access for key workers, Anderson Lane will also offer a $10,000 Key Worker Subsidy, recognising the vital role key workers play in the community.

The consortium’s approach aligns with Renewal SA’s vision for Southwark Grounds, including:

  • Fast-tracked delivery through Centina’s modular construction expertise.
  • Affordability and diversity with a mix of housing typologies.
  • Sustainability leadership targeting a 5 Star Green Star rating, all-electric homes, and water-sensitive urban design.
  • Community at its core, with streets and public spaces designed for walkability, safety and connection.
