The Mount Barker High School Special Options Accommodation Modular building consists of seven modules and two large modular deck areas.

The design facilitates a flexible pedagogy incorporating two general learning spaces, sensory/flexible learning spaces, teacher preparation/meeting space, office and toilet amenities catering for fully assisted, accessible and ambulant requirements.

The building consists of six modules and large verandah comprising of indoor and outdoor activity areas, withdrawal space, kitchen, administrative support areas and amenities to cater for the School’s increase in preschool enrolments.

Designed with the assistance of last year’s preschool students, the outdoor play area includes a bike path, sensory trail and kitchen garden.
