Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of projects across both our Commercial and Residential divisions, with project values typically ranging from $5m–$15m.
This role is ideal for an experienced Project Manager, or for a proven Contract Administrator, Site Manager, or Project Engineer who is ready to take the next step into project leadership. We are open to strong candidates with the ambition and capability to grow into a Project Manager role, supported by mentorship and development within our business.
You will play a key role in managing project delivery across all facets including safety, quality, programme, cost, stakeholder relationships, and team leadership – ensuring successful outcomes for clients, the business, and all project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver projects from commencement through to completion across safety, quality, environment, time, cost, and community outcomes
- Support project tendering, planning, programming, and cost advice during pre-construction and project conversion
- Establish project controls, management plans, and KPIs to drive successful project outcomes
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, variations, progress claims, and overall financial performance
- Drive project margin improvement throughout delivery
- Lead procurement processes in line with Centina’s contract administration procedures
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Manage project risks, opportunities, and contingency expenditure
- Complete monthly reporting cycles and chair project review meetings with Senior Leadership
- Lead project close-out including defects, maintenance items, and final completion processes
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to project teams, lifting capability and engagement
- Collaborate closely with site teams, operations leaders, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success
- Role model Centina’s values and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture
- Support continuous improvement across people, systems, and processes
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in construction, ideally across both Commercial and Residential sectors
- Experience as a Project Manager, or strong experience as a Contract Administrator, Site Manager, Project Engineer, or similar role with a clear desire to move into Project Management.
- Clear success in project delivery – meeting all project targets including budget, cost control, resource management, DIFOT, compliance with regulatory standards, HSQE, and team leadership.
- Demonstrable success as a positive leader with clear ability to coach for development and delivery business outcomes
- Highest standards of integrity and personal accountability to deliver outcomes, independently, with and through others.
- Excellent project leadership skills, including establishment of project parameters, prioritisation, planning, tracking of delivery.
- Excellence in the establishment of collaborative and productive relationships, with the ability to navigate mutually beneficial partnerships
- Personal commitment to growth and improvement, and to extending this to organisational outcomes.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Business, or equivalent
- Construction Industry White Card
- Valid driver’s licence
- Safety qualifications highly regarded
